About
Bless us all.
The Holy Obstacle is not an organization, movement, or institution. It is an idea.
Its purpose is to offer a new perspective on the oldest of conflicts, by framing the persistence of Israel and the Jewish people as a divine obstacle placed within human history — a restraint upon hubris, a boundary against excess, and potentially a key to its place in the world at large.
This proposal has been prepared independently.
- No financial interest is attached.
- No group or affiliation stands behind it.
- The idea is offered freely, without copyright or restriction.
The inspiration arose through reading Thomas Mann’s Joseph and His Brothers, reflecting on earlier explorations of similar themes in my writings, and exploring the possibilities of AI-assisted research and composition.
The Holy Obstacle may spread on its own, beyond the reach of any one person or institution. Its implications could become larger than all of us. It is for this reason it is presented now — for reflection, and for those who wish to consider its strategic and spiritual weight.
